Part 1: Teachings from 4 February 1950 to 1954

People often pray to or greet both Komyonyorai-sama and Meshiya-sama but they have only to pray to Meshiya-sama. You just do it on such occasions. It is inevitable since I didn’t tell the truth. It means that Komyonyorai-sama represents me. As I cannot visit every believer, Komyonyorai-sama is dispatched on behalf of me or enshrined at believers’ houses. Therefore, please understand that you usually just pray to Komyonyorai. In some cases or the case of an emergency such as terrible suffering, you directly pray to Meshikya-sama. In a word, I am a manufacturer of Komyonyorai. In this sense, you just think to ask the manufacturer. It is easy to understand for you.

Now you should know that I am taking the role of Izanagi-no-Mikoto. As Japan’s oldest historical record called Kojiki says, two gods went around a heavenly pillar each other. They did so. First, Izanami-no-Mikoto, who is a wife of Izanagi-no-Mikoto, went around that pillar clockwise. Turning clockwise means that right goes ahead and left goes back. Therefore, everything went wrong. It means that the world wasn’t settled. Therefore, she finally asked Izanagi-no-Mikoto for his help. He said to Izanami-no-Mikoto, “As I told you, it is not good to go around clockwise first. However, you insisted and then I forgave you to do so. After all, we must have turned around counter-clockwise. Now, I do it.” Then he went around the pillar counter-clockwise. Turning counter-clockwise means that spirit leads and form follows. Since the medical treatment using machines or so, its way represents that right goes ahead and left goes back. On the other hand, the heeling method with Johrei represents that left goes ahead and right goes back. This is the way that Izanagi-no-Mikoto-sama does. He represents God. Therefore, he has strong power. Some days ago, the wife of Mr Taga was possessed by Izanami-no-Mikoto-sama. She said that she made a terrible mistake and therefore, would help me as much as she could.

In the world, Amaterasu-Oomikami is regarded as a supreme goddess but she called me God when possessing the wife of Taga the other day. She said, “God has finally appeared in this world and I would like Him to accept my sincere congratulations.” She also asked me to give her a favour. This is true. As the history of the age of gods says, she is a child between Izanagi and Izanami-no-Mikoto. It means that she is my child or an elder daughter. Then Susanoo-no-Mikoto is a second child of mine. As I also wrote, he is an ancestor of Jewish or material culture. It is, however, not true. We can say so but it means that Israelites are the children of Susanoo-no-Mikoto and they became Jewish. Therefore, present material culture is the culture of Jewish. It means that Susanoo-no-Mikoto created that culture. Christ is the descendant of Susanoo-no-Mikoto, whose father is Izanagi-no-Mikoto. Therefore, Christ is the descendant of Izanagi-no-Mikoto and was born very later than him. For this reason, my disciples naturally show miracles as much as Christ did. It would be interesting if I explain such things in detail. I will do so step by step. Here I introduce one of my teachings which will amuse you. (17 November 1952)
