I heard about Meshiya-kyo for the first time at the end of 1949. It aims for eliminating disease, poverty and conflict. What a graceful religion it is! I wanted to visit there and listen to its teachings but had no chance as I was busy with my business. Then I remember that one of my family was ill in bed whenever I visited my parents’ house. I wanted to have fun in my hometown but I couldn’t. I always felt uncomfortable there and came back. I heard that instructors of Meshiya-kyo visited anywhere they were wanted. So, I decided to ask them to visit my parents’ house and teach my family. It was around the end of 1950 when I asked Mr T. He is now a chief person of local brunch office H.
Mr T said, “We hold a ceremony at my house on 11 February. Why don’t you come and ask an instructor about that?” Then I visited to worship on that day. Mr U told me about Meshiya-kyo and performed Johrei. He said, “Why don’t you save your family by yourself first?” I agree with him and soon became a believer. After that, I visited my hometown and performed Johrei to my family.
Now, no one is ill in bed. My whole family are full of joy and my mother became a believer, too. I had a son. He was always ill in bed since he was born. He had a fever of 40 degrees once a month and often needed medicine and a doctor. As he grew, he could hardly recover and became ill in bed for twenty days at the longest. Five days after I became a believer, he suddenly had a fever of 40 degrees. I was worried if I could perform Johrei well to him without enough experience. I remembered what Mr U said to me and tried hard to perform Johrei to my son. One hour later, he started to sleep calmly. He gained appetite and his temperature went lower on the next day. Then he completely recovered in about four days. It took three days for him to recover when the second purification occurred. Then it took only a day to recover on the third time. Now he becomes healthier than other children nearby.
I visited the head office to attend a grand ceremony in the spring of 1951 and honourably had a meeting with Meshiya-sama. Since then, I had a purification of haemorrhoids. I had suffered from it for ten years. I had faeces with blood for three days. Now I am doing very well working for my business. I am working as a hardware dealer. When my customer buys a toilet bowl, I always tell them about Meshiya-kyo. I also work for Meshiya-kyo until midnight or at 1 a.m. every day.
I receive the grace of miracles whenever I visit a head office, a worship centre or a local branch office. I have lots of customers now and live a happy life. I have received numerous graces for a year since I became a believer. Here I express my deepest gratitude to the infinitive power of Dai-Komyonyorai-sama and conclude my report. Thank you very much, Meshiya-sama. I am very grateful. I also express my deepest gratitude to instructors who taught me.

Thank you very much for always giving us your grace, Meshiya-sama. We have been always protected since my parents became a believer in1946. In1950, my wife, brother, sister and I became a believer in February and we enshrined Dai-Komyonyorai-sama in March. We have lived a happy life without medicine.
On 26 August 1950, my son (who was one year old) suddenly had a pain in the belly. He stopped defecating and his belly became swollen. He suffered in agony in bed. I immediately asked a chairperson to performed Johrei to him. We were surprised to be said that my son hanged between life and death and he stayed at the chairperson’s house for four or five days. He performed Johrei to my son with at most effort while we were praying with whole our heart. Then my son had watery diarrhoea and the pain in the belly went away. He became able to have breast milk. So, he was saved. He continued to have purification once in four or five days.
I worked for the construction of Paradise on Earth of Zuiunkyo in Atami for a month and then came home in January 1951. My son got better and became in good shape until July but had purification of whooping cough in August. When He kept coughing violently, something red came out of his anus. It had a length of 9 centimetres and a width of three times as big as adult’s thumb. Believers as well as instructors were very surprised. Instructors performed Johrei to him for a month but he had purification more. They got worried and asked Meshiya-sama to have a special meeting with my father. Meshiya-sama said to my father, “You don’t have to worry. Your grandson will be healed.” We got an endorsement from Him. Since then, we didn’t know why but a lot of mucus came out around his anus. It was very smelly and the smell came from the toxic medicine in the intestine.
My son continued to receive Johrei from the instructor and then the red thing came out less and less. A few days later, it completely stopped coming out and never did again no matter how he strained. We were relieved and our hearts became full of gratitude and joy. He recovered from constipation, too. We soaked with joy again. Then my son received a holy amulet for children. On the 25th, my wife and I visited the headquarter in Atami to worship.
If that was not the great power of Meshiya-sama, then what was it? We are very grateful for owing to the mercy of Meshiya-sama. Now I would like to reward our favour even a little and to follow the will of God called the construction of Paradise on Earth.

I humbly would like to report my experience. I suffered from haemorrhoids in around 1946. It was nothing serious until the summer of 1949. So, I worked without paying the attention although I had a little pain after defecating. However, I suffered from anal prolapse with blood in that autumn. The amount of blood increased as it was getting cold. My pain became severe day by day but I had no courage to tell my parents. I tried to solve it by myself and relied on a new medicine. As I had a lot of blood come out in the toilet, my parents got to know my disease and said, “You are suffering from haemorrhoids, aren’t you? It must be serious as you bleed a lot. Since you drink a lot, it got worse. You must stop drinking.” I loved drinking so far. I thought that it caused haemorrhoids. Then I tried to refrain from drinking.
However, my symptom didn’t seem to get better but contrarily got worse. I had to have a rest for one or two hours until the pain subsided after defecating. I couldn’t work without doing so. When I worked too hard, I had to have a rest for a few days. I had a lot of blood, too. If the symptom had got worse, I thought that I wouldn’t live so long. I lost hope and felt as if I was being pushed down into hell. Furthermore, some people said that haemorrhoids developed pulmonary tuberculosis. I became full of fears and finally decided to have an operation as my last resort.
Having said that, we were financially struggling at that time. We couldn’t afford to have an operation soon. So, I decided to wait for the time to come and then admit to the hospital but Komyonyorai-sama of great mercy lent a hand to a sinful person like me. In the middle of April 1951, Mr. I and Mr. S visited our region. They are instructors of Meshiya-kyo and said, “Any kinds of diseases are cured by holding up a hand like this.” That was too good to be true. I am sorry but I was first on my guard against it. I didn’t want to receive Johrei but they earnestly recommended. I thought I might be cured and became curious about it. Then I asked them to perform Johrei.
When I received Johrei a few times, the smelly mucus came out and that smell was just the same as the new medicine I inserted to the anus four or five months ago. From this experience, I understood a little about the purification of toxic medicine which instructors said. Since then, I earnestly received Johrei. On 8 June, I had training from Mr K and honourably received a holy amulet. In this way, I understood how terrible toxic medicine was and how grateful Johrei was.
Since then, I visited the branch office M to attend a monthly ceremony and continued to receive Johrei. I bled a lot but I knew how wonderful purification was. My symptom kept getting better and then worse again until the end of the last year but I didn’t have to worry very much. From the 20th of December, I had great purification. I had intense pain and a large amount of bleeding. I couldn’t sleep for three days and nights. A large amount of mucus smelling like decaying fish came out. Mr I diligently performed Johrei to me. Then bleeding stopped and the anal prolapse was cured. I had no pain nor felt itchy. I was overjoyed and my feeling was beyond description. I could heavenly greet the New Year of 1952. I am very grateful for owing to the infinitive mercy of Meshiya-sama. Now I would like to work hard for the construction of Paradise on Earth to reward the grace I got even a little. Thank you very much, Meshiya-sama.
