Thank you very much, Meshiya-sama. We always receive your grace. I am sorry for my poor writing but would like to report my experience with gratitude. I received a holy amulet on 30 May 1949. It was my lifeline. I am very grateful that I have dedicated myself to spreading Meshiya-sama’s teachings under the guidance of people who work for Sekai-Meshiya-kyo.
As I recall, my fifty-eight-year-old mother fell and injured her right knee in January 1949. She felt pain very much. So, she tried any possible remedies such as shiatsu, acupuncture and moxibustion, as well as attending a hospital. However, her knee condition rather got worse. She finally couldn’t bend the knee joint. We asked prayer to god here or there but it led to nothing. She looked gloomy and always ate meals while stretching her leg. It was 15 April. When I came home from work, she sat on her knees and had dinner. I soon asked her, “What happened? Have you recovered?” She was just grinning. I was surprised but soon felt happy. I asked her what happened persistently. So, she started to talk about the following story bit by bit.
On that day, my mother went to the shiatsu clinic by train as usual. On the way back home, she met our relative Mrs A on the train. Their small talk turned into a religious one. Mrs A told my mother about Sekai-Meshiya-kyo. While they were talking, Mrs A kept holding her hand to my mother’s right knee. When the nearest station was approaching, she said to my mother, “Why don’t you try to sit down on the seat?” My mother was able to sit on without any problem. She said loudly without realising, “I can sit down! I was healed!” Surprised by her voice, people on the train saw her all at once. She involuntarily blushed. Mrs A and my mother shared joy with tears. My whole family calmly listened to her story. I was very moved and apologised in my heart at the same time. I had known that Mrs A was a believer in Sekai-Meshiya-kyo. I said something bad about her; “Disease cannot be cured just by holding a hand. If that is the case, no one will worry.” “Such a thing never happens in the age of scientism.” Like that, I was a full-fledged atheist who just laughed at her. Even though I didn’t know, I was ashamed of having said such terrible things. I scolded myself. I wonder why my mouth didn’t rot when I said that. I am very sorry. Please forgive me for my ignorance, Mehsiya-sama.
On 27 April, Mrs A visited us with Mr N. Mr N is a young man who works for Sekai-Mehsya-kyo and came from Shiga. He told me about their faith for two hours. They kindly lent me their religious publications. As I read them, I really wanted to become a believer as soon as possible. I made offering money by working overtime. Though my spirit was still cloudy, I finally received a holy amulet on 30 May. I was full of gratitude. As guided, I immediately performed Johrei on a person who had a stomach ache. After ten minutes or so, the pain completely went away. How grateful it was! I just hold my hands while closing my eyes and said from whole my heart, “Thank you very much, Meshiya-sama.” I bowed towards him many times. Since then, I always thought that I couldn’t wait to let people know this faith as much as possible.” I run around in the hope that as many people as possible are saved. It is too much to say that I propagate Sekai-Meshiya-kyo but I single-mindedly work hard as guided. This year, I rendered a service to the work in Hakone for a month from 5 April. I could join the construction of Paradise on Earth. My wife also became a believer. We enshrined Komyo-Nyorai-sama and a holy folding screen for ancestors. Now my family continuously receive grace and live a healthy life. I cannot find a suitable word to express my gratitude. I just decided to work hard to reward the grace we had even a little. Thank you very much again, Meshiya-sama. Forgive me for my poor writing. Here I conclude my report with deep gratitude.
