Arteriosclerosis and High Blood Pressure

Johrei Saves America, written by Mokichi Okada, 1953

The cause of arteriosclerosis and high blood pressure are similar but different so that I explain them separately. As for arteriosclerosis, there are two types of causes. One is toxic medicine which solidifies around the arteries and presses them. The other is toxic blood which accumulates and solidifies in a certain part of the artery. In the latter case, the toxin gradually accumulates and becomes swollen. This symptom is called an aneurysm. This toxic blood is caused by toxic medicine and also impure blood which is caused by meat-eating. Therefore, when a patient with such symptoms stopped taking medicine and lived on vegetables, they would be cured unexpectedly soon.

Then I explain high blood pressure. It is caused by a stiffness formed under either side of the jaw. Those who regularly write texts or do detailed work by hands tend to suffer from this disease. When examining their jaws, you would easily understand what I mean. In medical science, high blood pressure is caused prior to cerebral haemorrhage but it is wrong. It might be indirectly related a little but not directly at all. So please don’t worry. Before time, I had a visitor who wanted me to give advice. His blood pressure was 300 when it was measured six years ago at the hospital. The doctor gave him a warning but he kept working as he couldn’t live without doing. However, nothing happened to him so that he continued to work as usual. He was about sixty years old at that time and had worked as a copyist. I told him not to worry and to continue his work.
