Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy

Healing Art for Tomorrow Part Ⅱ
Written by Mokichi Okada, 1943

As you know, moxibustion therapy, which was once outdated, has been back and become very popular these days. This obviously shows the helplessness of western medicine. Then I explain moxibustion therapy. When this therapy is given, solidified toxins, which are the cause of diseases, are induced by skin burns. This occurs for the same reason that pus gathers and accumulates in the area that a person gets burned. If the large area is burned, however, the person feels severe pain and has a scaler left. Therefore, moxibustion makes small burns de-centrally. Since toxins are distributed to each of the small burns and accumulate there, the symptom temporarily looks getting better. However, toxins return to the former condition as time passes. For this reason, the patient has to continue to receive this therapy every month or a few times a year since they started it. Unlike medical agents, this therapy doesn’t cause poisoning so that there is no problem with their health. However, the patient obviously feels pain while receiving moxibustion therapy. Furthermore, it leaves ugly marks on the skin. You should never miss this fact. A human being is originally the masterpiece that God has created. It is not too much to say that it is the ultimate beauty. That is especially true in women. Their skin is the beauty to praise. We call it a skin of germ in Japan. In the West, a female nude is the best beauty. Nevertheless, moxibustion therapy makes burns artificially. It means that it creates a person with disabled skin. I think that it blasphemes against God and this sin cannot be escaped.

As for acupuncture therapy, it damages blood vessels and causes internal bleeding. Purification action is consequently stopped by the congealed blood. Therefore, it is not a definitive therapy.
