Thank you very much for giving us numerous blessings every day, Meshiya-sama. On 3 September 1952, I took a health check-up at Kyosai hospital. I was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis as a result of an X-ray examination. I had an egg-sized cavity in the right lung. The doctor said, “It is difficult to apply a pneumothorax treatment in your case. You should be admitted to a sanatorium.” I couldn’t feel like getting hospitalised. I just took medicine for about ten days but stopped it as I had heard there was no effective medicine for lung disease. After a while, my acquaintance Mrs Y came to see me. She performed Johrei on me and told me about Sekai-Meshiya-kyo. After I received Johrei three times or so, Mrs Y said, “Why don’t you visit a brunch church of Sekai-Meshiya-kyo to hear about faith?” I visited there at the end of September. I talked to Mr G who was in charge of the church. I received Johrei from him. He said, “You are sure to recover by Johrei.” Furthermore, I read teachings written by Meshiya-sama. Mr G’s words and the teachings gave me hope. Every time I visited the church, Mr G told me something new. He said that purification was grateful and toxic medicine was awful. He talked about the great spiritual virtue of Meshiya-sama and the divine plan of the great construction and so on. I was surprised at everything I heard and thought that I was given the path of divine light ahead of me. So, I humbly received a precious holy amulet and became a believer in Sekai-Msehiya-kyo on 8 October. The next day, I immediately had purification and had a fever. I asked Mrs Y to visit me that night. I received Johrei from her and comfortably slept. I visited the church on the 10th. I received Johrei from Mr G and my headache had gone. The following day, my wife also had purification and had a temperature of about 39 degrees. She received Johrei from Mrs Y and also me. Then her temperature gradually went down and she felt better. On 15 October, my wife had the honour of receiving a holy amulet. On 3 March, my sister-in-law visited us but suddenly had a pain in her belly on the day when she was leaving. My wife and I performed Johrei on her. Her pain had gone in about twenty minutes. She was glad and went back home. On that day, my second son had purification again after I went to my parents’ house. He had a temperature of over 40 degrees. We asked Mrs Y to come and performed Johrei on him. We also performed Johrei. His high temperature finally went down in three days. We enshrined a holy folding screen for ancestors on 31 November and a holy object of worship on 5 December. Our house became filled with the divine light of Meshiya-sama. We are grateful that we can hold a service every morning and evening. I perform Johrei on many people while receiving guidance from the chairperson and a brunch church manager. Every time they show me gratitude after getting better, I always expressed my gratitude for the great divine power of Meshiya-sama. I try hard so that as many people as possible can have this honour. On the day when we enshrined the holy object of worship, I went to the hospital for the first time in three months. I needed to submit a medical certificate to my company. As a result of the X-ray examination, the egg-sized cavity became small. I gained about 6 kilograms. The doctor asked me, “What are you doing?” I replied, “I am receiving Johrei at Sekai-Meshiya-kyo.” The doctor just laughed but didn’t oppose it strongly. Now I get better and my family live a cheerful life while receiving grace every day. I have just become a believer but received numerous blessings as described above. I work hard to lead as many people as possible to this path of happiness. So, please protect us as ever and use us for your divine work. Thank you very much, Meshiya-sama. Here I conclude my report.
